Table Lickin

My wife was telling me about some table lickin disease today. We were sitting at a restaraunt today, with our four month old baby. This was the first time we have taken him out since he was born. The little one dropped his toy on the ground, and I picked it up and tried to hand it back to him. My beautiful bride promptly slapped it away saying that it had been on the dirty floor.

I guess I can see why you wouldn't want a kid to handle something that had been on a restaurant floor, but then she said the strangest thing. Our kid started moving his toy around on the table and then went to put it in his mouth, where my woman took it away. I asked why, and she said the table was dirty. Well I tell ya I have never seen a cleaner table.

I really couldn't imagine what disease a table would have on it. I sure could not see anything. I wondered if this was one of those newfangled things.
